About Us

About Maryann:
Maryann has been in the healing arts for 15 years. Right out of college, she went to the prestigious Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, where she studied neuromuscular therapy, kinesiology, anatomy and physiology as well as numerous massage techniques. She also took an advanced Sports Massage course where she worked on world class athletes.

Maryann created a private massage therapy practice immediately following graduation and simultaneously worked for a medical practice which specialized in pain management. Nine years ago, she became a certified personal fitness trainer through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America. Working out of a gym and having private clients was fun but not 100% fulfilling.

In the spring of 2000, Maryann earned her acupuncture degree from the Eastern School of Acupuncture, Montclair, NJ. ESA is one of the few schools in the country that offers a broad spectrum of acupuncture styles (TCM, Japanese, Worsley, Korean Hand, Ear and Scalp acupuncture and much much more!). She has consistently furthered her knowledge in Oriental Medicine through post-graduate studies at numerous schools around the country.

About Leah:
Leah Giles is a certified Pilates instructor for over 6 years, an ajunct professor at Orange County Community College teaching Dance and Wellness and a Reiki I practitioner. Leah has extensive training in rehabilitative exercise and represents the Amazon Herb Company's 100% botanical (zero chemicals) skin care line named Lluvia (which means "rain" in spanish). In-home skin care parties available.
